What is Island Slam?
Island Slam is our first game — real Caribbean dominoes for your phone, the way it's played on verandahs, rum shops and street corners across the islands. Cut-throat play, round by round, until a champion is crowned. Play offline against a smart AI or online against real players.
Where can I get it?
iPhone and iPad: download it on the App Store.
Android: get it on Google Play.
Or search “Island Slam” in either store — the badges on our home page take you straight there.
Is Island Slam free?
Yes — free to download and free to play, supported by an occasional ad between matches (never during one). No pay-to-win, ever. If you'd rather not see ads at all, there's an optional ad-free subscription in the app.
Can I play without internet?
Yes. Solo matches against the AI work anywhere, no connection or account needed. Online multiplayer, private rooms and the weekly leaderboard need an internet connection and a sign-in.
How do I play with my friends?
Pick Create Room, share the four-letter code (there's a one-tap Share button), and they pick Join Room and enter it. Four seats, counter-clockwise, the host starts when everyone's in. iPhone and Android players can sit at the same table.
What rules does it use? I learned differently.
Authentic Caribbean cut-throat — seven tiles each, double-six poses, knock when you can't play, blocked rounds go to the lowest count. There's a built-in rules guide for anyone new to the game. Dominoes varies island to island and house to house; if your table plays it differently, we genuinely want to hear about it — that feedback shapes what we build next.
Can I represent my island?
Yes — pick your country flag and a character, and show your colours at the table. The soundtrack is Caribbean too. This is the whole point of the studio.
I found a bug — how do I report it or get support?
Use the contact form or email hello@aluwi.ai. Tell us your phone model and what happened — screenshots help. A real person (the person who built it, in fact) reads every message.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Settings → Delete account. Your sign-in is disabled immediately and your data is erased within 15 days. You can also email hello@aluwi.ai from the address you signed up with.
What happens with my data?
As little as possible. The game's privacy policy is at play.aluwi.ai/privacy, and this website's own policy is here. This site sets no cookies and runs no trackers.
Who is Aluwi?
An independent Caribbean digital studio in Barbados — ALUWI Inc., founded 2026. The name joins “all uh we” (all of us, everyone belongs) with WI, the West Indies. Say it All-uh-wee. More on the About page; press enquiries to press@aluwi.ai.
