Privacy Policy

Who we are. This website, aluwi.ai, is operated by ALUWI Inc., a company incorporated under the Companies Act of Barbados (Company No. 55187), with its registered office at Level 1, One Welches, Saint James, Barbados. For anything in this policy, contact hello@aluwi.ai.

What we collect. Very little. If you join our email list, we collect the email address you give us. If you email us, we receive your address and whatever you write. Our hosting provider automatically records basic technical logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) to serve the site and keep it secure. We set no cookies, run no advertising trackers, and do not build profiles of visitors.

How we use it. Email addresses on our list are used for one thing: sending you occasional Aluwi updates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, and we'll remove you. Emails you send us are used to reply to you. Technical logs are used to operate and protect the site. We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.

Legal basis. Where data-protection law such as the EU/UK GDPR or the Barbados Data Protection Act applies, we rely on your consent for the email list (which you may withdraw at any time) and on our legitimate interest in running a secure website for technical logs.

Who else touches the data. The site is hosted on Google Firebase Hosting, and fonts are served by Google Fonts (both may process your IP address to deliver content). Our domain and email routing run on Cloudflare. If you join the email list, the address is stored with our newsletter provider. These providers process data on our behalf and under their own published safeguards; some are located outside Barbados and the EU/UK, in countries such as the United States.

How long we keep it. List emails: until you unsubscribe or we close the list. Correspondence: as long as needed to deal with your message. Logs: for the short periods our hosting provider retains them.

Your rights. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict our use of it, and to complain to a data-protection authority. Email hello@aluwi.ai and we will honour these requests.

Children. This website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes. If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date. Our games and apps have their own privacy policies, published with each product.
